Getting involved during Packaging activities at works and subsequently responsible for Erection and Commissioning activities related to Instrumentation and Controls of Compressor Packages at customer sites. Responsible till warranty of the equipment has expired or proper hand over to Product Service team is completed.
Education & Experience:
Diploma / Degree in Instrumentation and Controls Engineering with at least 5-10 years working experience in PLC Panel or Field Instrumentation manufacturing company supplying products to Oil and Gas Industry.
Addition Skills preferable:
Hands on experience on installation and troubleshooting of various field Instruments and PLC Control Panels
Ability to conduct Cold and Hot loop checks and logic checks independently based on Engineering documents.
Responsible for preparation of Site Schedule for various activities related to Instrument and Controls along with PM for each Project
Ability of interpret and understand various Engineer documents like Piping & Instrumentation Diagram, Operation Philosophy , Cause & Effect, Junction Box and Cable Schedule, Hook Up Drawing and Panel documents.
Understand the Project requirements related to Instrumentation and Controls prior to dispatch of the equipment from works.
Visit to various Customer sites for Instruments and Controls related requirement adhering to the required Safety norms of Customer and Siemens.
Coordination with the various Field Instrument and Panel component supplier and ability to resolve site issues with their assistance if needed
Understanding of Codes related to instrumentation and controls
Good written and verbal communication skill with customer, supplier and with the head office team as needed.Ability to modify the PLC program at site as per requirement of Engineering if needed.
Arrange material from Supplier or internally to overcome site requirements or discrepancies.
