  • Position Overview/Summary

    Lead the financial planning process and assist in developing actions to ensure the organization meets annual operating plans.  Review and report the financial performance of the organization to the TCP management team.  Design effective processes to track financial metrics against expectations and plans including predictive measures that identify potential shortfalls.  Partner with the business leaders in the areas of Operations, MK&S, Field Operations and New Units to provide financial direction and guidance on key business issues and decisions.  Develop and maintain a strong internal control environment that ensures compliance with corporate policies.

    Position Qualifications (Required and Preferred)

    Experience and Educational Requirements:

    • BBA in Accounting or Finance. MBA and/or CPA preferred.
    • Minimum of 10 years experience in finance and accounting.
    • Minimum of 5 years in key financial management roles.


    Desired Skills:

    • Experience in a senior level finance role, partnering with operations management at multiple levels and implementing financial management strategies.
    • Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including IFRS, FRG and internal control frameworks.
    • Proficiency in Siemens finance and accounting systems and Microsoft Office applications.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects.
    • Excellent analytical and organizational skills.

    Position Responsibilities and Duties

    • Lead the annual business planning process, monthly forecasts and risk and opportunity meetings with operations management.
    • Evaluate the financial return of potential capital expenditures and oversee the capital planning process. Utilize financial valuation models to properly evaluate capital investments.
    • Lead the business controlling and operations BA teams on site. Provide organizational management, personnel coaching and team development to all Site BA personnel.
    • Implement and update a financial scorecard to maintain consistent financial reporting data and analysis. Strengthen the link between operational metrics and P&L reporting.
    • Advocate for changes to the plan or projects when appropriate and ensure they are reflected in the current outlook.
    • Assist the organization in optimizing supply chain spend. Identify and recommend actions in high impact areas for cost and productivity improvements.
    • Track the financials of key growth projects and initiatives so informed decisions can be made that support the strategy of the organization.
    • Partner with the New Unit and Services management teams on cost savings projects and work to ensure that savings targets are achieved.
    • Reporting of overall manufacturing utilization and taking corrective actions as needed.
    • Lead planning of cost centers and hourly rates to provide transparency and benchmarking of the factory network.
    • Act as Financial Project Manager for Target Costing efforts on Site or across the Product Line.
    • Provide ad-hoc financial and economic analysis as required.
