  • Position Overview/Summary

    Responsible for providing technical assistance to clients during the installation and commissioning of new mechanical equipment (i.e. centrifugal compressor, reciprocating compressor, control systems), overhauls of mechanical equipment, and during the startup of various machinery.

    The FSR troubleshoots mechanical problems encountered in the field environment, with engineering support from D-R Technical Support Group and corresponding factory.

    Position Qualifications (Required and Preferred)



    Education and IT/Mathematical skills:  


    Minimum Bachelor's /Diploma of Mechanical/Chemical Engineering , and 04-10 years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    Must have knowledge of the Products, Competitions, Markets, Application Engineering, Sourcing and Production/Quality systems.



    Skills or Work-style Preferred:

    • Ability to interpret & Analyze the Techno-Commercial complex documents.

    • Ability to communicate & respond effectively.

    • Ability to facilitate on Technical/Quality Product and field System Issues .

    Unique or Special Requirements:  

    • Travel required  70 -90 % in general to domestic and international job sites / If required to work for extended period in LTSA Sites


    Position Responsibilities and Duties

    1. To attend new machines erection and commissioning jobs.
    2. To attend field complaints of compressor and related accessories.
    3. To prepare & send the Proposals for AMC jobs to Clients.
    4. To coordinate for Monthly MIS Reports on Client Complaints and Request from all Branches.
    5. To attend Overhauls/Servicing of old Compressor.
    6. To conduct training at site for healthy operation of Compressor.
    7. To Conduct field testing as per F.O. requirement.
    8. To coordinate with Engineering/Projects for field issues.
    9. To handle FS turnkey Projects.
    10. To prepare & send Quotation for Service Charges to Client.
    11. To compile ISO Reports received from branches.
    12. To Promote Upgrades and Revamps by educating clients.


    1.  To help client in Trouble shooting.
    2. To ensure successful commissioning of New machine to validate our design as per ISO.
    3. To Give training to Client on operation and Maintenance of gas compressor at Naroda.

    4. To attend to complaints for Resolutions & Corrective Actions.

    5. To Prepare Periodical Reports/Measures & Displays.
    6. Finalization of Sub-Contractors evaluating offers received from them.
