Position Overview/Summary

The Dresser-Rand business, part of Siemens Power and Gas (PG), is a leading supplier of mission-critical, high-speed rotating equipment solutions to the worldwide oil, gas, petrochemical, and process industries. The Dresser-Rand business is seeking talented college graduate engineers for our Engineering Management Acceleration Program (EMAP). The Engineering Management Acceleration Program (EMAP) is a five year rotational assignment that allows exposure to several disciplines within the Dresser-Rand business.  As you rotate you are in actual jobs within the business, so you are learning and being developed while also making significant contributions to the company.




Position Qualifications (Required and Preferred)



  • Minimum of a Bachelors Degree in an Engineering discipline ( Mechanical, Chemical, Aerospace, Manufacturing)
  • The willingness and ability to travel and relocate throughout the duration of the Engineering Management Acceleration Program
  • Leadership role in college and/or extracurricular activities

Position Responsibilities and Duties

  • The first three years will be comprised of one year rotations.  The final rotation is 2 years in duration in an area of the business that the participant most likely will start their career after completion of the program.
  • The candidate will use fundamental engineering concepts, practices and procedures to complete assigned projects while learning about the business. Fields which the candidate will be exposed typically include Application, Project, Product Design, Technical Support, Test or Manufacturing Engineering as well as Digitalization, Supply Chain, Lean/Six Sigma Continuous Improvement.
  • The rotations will provide broad exposure in the various aspects of Engineering. Assignments will be in Dresser-Rand business and other Siemens sites across the United states and also global locations.  

Interviews to be conducted in late 2017, with successful candidates joining Dresser-Rand in July 2018
