Position Overview/Summary

The Dresser-Rand Internship Program enables college students to explore many stimulating career possibilities in the manufacturing industry. Interns work side-by-side with our top professionals on crucial client orders and management issues. Interns are assigned based on their academic discipline, needs of the organization, and potential contribution. Facility tours, professional development opportunities, networking activities, and product training are a vital part of the Internship Program. By the end of the assignment, interns gain a comprehensive understanding of Dresser-Rand operations and the satisfaction that their work significantly contributed to the success of the company. If you have a record of academic achievement and are highly motivated to jump start your career, the Dresser-Rand Internship Program is for you!


As a business intern at Dresser-Rand you will be given a project or multiple projects to work on during the internship period. These projects will be related to material you have learned in your courses and are also designed to aide in the learning of new material and concepts through hands-on experience. A professional in your field will mentor you during this process and assist with your development.

Position Qualifications (Required and Preferred)



  • Business major at an accredited university
  • Minimum 2nd year student starting in the Fall
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Programs
  • Available for 10-12 consecutive weeks during the summer
