Position Overview/Summary

Field Services Reciprocating Compressors and Internal Combustion Engines Department is looking for:

- Technical-mechanical support for reciprocating compressors, engines and associated systems.

Position Qualifications (Required and Preferred)

  • Proven experience in maintenance of industrial reciprocating compresor and internal combustion engines, preventive maintenance, corrective, upgrades, footprints and start-up. Knowledge of both mechanical electrical and control systems.
  • Computer skills at user level.
  • English Level: C-2 written and spoken
  • Availability to travel and to be outside your usual residence, nationally and internationally, more than 80% of your time.

Position Responsibilities and Duties

  • Dismantle, repair, maintenance, upgrades and footprints of reciprocating compressors and internal combustion engines as well as the systems associated, in the customer's facilities.
  • Start-ups and adjustments.
  • Scheduled maintenance or corrective maintenance according to the manufacturer's manual.
  • Understand mechanical and technical specifications, drawings and electrical diagrams of machinery.
  • Attending and complying with standards of operation and maintenance instructions.
  • Checking and verifying that the equipment complies with the requirements and technical specifications of the manufacturer.
  • Generate work reports and inspection reports to teams and clients.
  • Training on operation and preventive maintenance of the team.
  • Defining the supply of spare parts based on manuals and statistics of the manufacturer, defining minimum stocks for the client.
  • Being able to have a direct dialogue with the engineering and technical departments of the manufacturer.
  • Direct contact with customers.
  • Supervision of subcontractors.
  • Complying with Safety Plans of the company and participate in its improvement
